You may use the tool on Pages 4/5 as
@Ploddles mentioned. My recommendation is to use a USB flash disk to test the changes as follows:
- Boot macOS and mount EFI partitions of internal macOS SSD and a USB flash disk.
- If using a brand new USB flash disk, run Disk Utility to format it with Scheme GUID Partition Map. That will create an empty EFI partition.
- Copy the entire EFI folder from the macOS internal SSD to EFI partition of the USB flash disk.
- Now the USB flash disk is bootable.
- Make and test all OpenCore changes on the USB flash disk.
- Press F12 during BIOS splash screen to open the BIOS Boot Menu, select the USB flash disk, then from the OpenCore Picker, choose the normal macOS SSD.
