@jhax01,

I just got a 1012G2 for 250 Euros, I tried to follow your guide and it was perfect !

There were just some kext update to do but everything was clear,

Thank you so much for porting this trackpad drivers, the full gestures are fantastic

Is there anyway that I can buy you a beer?

Nice! Nope, just enjoy it! It's a great little machine.

I can confirm that this works perfectly even with the latest bios 1.44
In the next days I'm gonna try also Catalina and let you know @oldmacharu

Hi, I hope you and all had a good beginning of 2020!

@z3d0 - did you succeed in updating to Catalina?

following the threat.
I got HP Elite X2 1012 G1 these days.
here is my spices:

HP 1012 G1
Processor: Dual-Core Intel Core m7
RAM: 8G
HDD:1T samsung 860EVO
Wifi&bluetooth: DW1560, I tool the intel one off, of course.
HP bios 1.44

I Found you're using MacBookPro14,1 for G2, and I think MacBook9,1 is right for G1, but when I made the change, It's always reboot.

also I changed AAPL,ig-platform-id, your config.list is for HD530, but mine is HD515, so I changed the Value 00001659 to "03001E19'
(
Intel HD Graphics 515 0x191e0003 MacBook9,1

)

still stuck and reboot. would some can help?

Although this is about Mojave - can perhaps someone share his extension folder for Catalina? I tried a lot but only get a black screen after updating...then reinstall....and again...X2G2 i7...

I've actually used this to install both Mojave and Catalina onto a G1. The main issue I have with the installs is that the trackpad isn't working (on either Mojave or Catalina). It doesn't even work in the installer. I've read the entire thread and looked everywhere but can't seem to get it to work. Maybe it's because my processor is the M7 not the M5, I dunno.

Hi, I have been install Catalina, everything is good, all of them seems fine, the only problem is the battery status is not working, I try to use ACPIBManager or SMCBmanager, both of them did not work, when I install fakesmc, the system won't even going to OSX, is anyone can help, thanks

I'm running Catalina, upgraded through software update from Mojave. The SSDTs are fine as is, but you need to make sure that you update all of the kexts to their latest versions and use the Bluetooth kexts from the acidanthera repo (Brcm3 instead of 2). If I get some time, I'll do a clean install write for Catalina.

The USB configuration is slightly different for the G1, you are probably using the wrong SSDT-UIAC file so the port for the touchpad is disabled. Take a look at post one and you'll see a separate SSDT-UIAC meant for your machine. Hope that helps.

SMC Battery manager works fine for me on Catalina. Make sure you have updated all your kexts to their latest and rebuild your cache. If that doesn't work, then post your troubleshooting files and I'll take a look when I can.

do u have a plan to switch Clover to Opencore for this tablet?
