Can you share kext and other files..as I see that you have a GTX card..how did you install it?

no kext needed, some Kepler cards la Gtx 770 are native on Catalina

So, is it my GTX 970 that is giving me all this nightmares?
Also, Mojave doesn't install. When it goes to remaining time less than a minute, it get stuck.. I waited hours..no reboot .. just stuck..
I thought that it would install, but than I'd have to switch card to have acceleration. If I have to switch card before installing either Mojave or Catalina, I'm in trouble. I know that is not a problem with the motherboard as another user with my same mobo runs Mojave. He had to swap card for an AMD dough. In a an early post a mobo with a P6T is been upgraded fine.

If you want to stick with your GTX 970, then you'll need to stay with High Sierra as that is the last macOS for which the Nvidia drivers were released. So, for Mojave and Catalina, you'll need to use an AMD graphics card, like the Sapphire RX 580 Pulse 8GB graphics card. I think your on-board video is too old for Mojave and/or Catalina support.

Indeed.. time to let it go ..sadly..

I got a problem while updating from the Mojave. While using the i5 9400f and vega56, the update went well but can’t get in to the system. The following is the last state I saw.
This is not a support thread. Start a new one in Catalina Desktop Support to get help. Thanks.

I was in the same boat, i had a gtx 1050. I posted it in craigslist and facebook for sale or for trade for an amd rx560. I had someone reach out for an even trade within the week, no money spent. Give it a go, it's worth a shot. PC gamers love the nvidia name and would likely be more than willing to trade.

Absolutely, I put on e-bay and looking for a rx-580 to spend no money or as little as I can..I had 47 views and a ridiculous offer in a few hours.. hahah The rx-580 with 8 gb would be a nice upgrade, the only downside it doesn't have CUDA for Tensorflow..but I read that AMD has some kind of solution..I'll dig into that ..
