Sure, just download Prime95 for Mac....it's free and runs right within the MacOS.....I am not having any trouble with the new Whatevergreen.....my machine is actually working better....on your Sage, are you on 0905 or 1201? Hopefully not any of the other bios versions......

I'm on 0905 x64 bios. Should i update? I read somewhere is better to stay on 0905.

So, 0905 and 1201 are safe, versions 10 or 11 are not. I'm on 1201, and I haven't noticed any issues with it. My Sage seems pretty happy on 1201. Maybe it will help you.....but I'm just not sure about that, of course.....

Ok! So i'm gonna try 1201 then! Thanks for your help! ;)

Edit: Before update i tried to create a new Virtual Machine on VMWare and the computer freeze more or less at the same point. And after update the Bios (And nothing else) i tried again and it went ok. Not sure if it was casualty or if it was the bios update. I will update if any news. ;)

Edit 2: It happened again. The computer freeze with the 1201 bios as well when trying VMWare.

Hoping someone can point me in the right direction. Trying to update to catalina from 10.14.6(all my mojave updates have been perfectly smooth). After starting the install from the desktop, install catalina, after first reboot i get a freeze every time at "Forcing CS_RUNTIME for entitlement: com.apple.private.security.kext-management" verbose attached. I updated all my kexts in other folder and L/extensions. Also tried with usb using virtual smc instead of fake smc but same result. ?? thanks in advance

Well, that could be VMWare, right? You'd want to see if any other app freezes.....I'm on VMWare Fusion 11.5 and it's fine, for me.....

Well, I was able to get Catalina installed. I used a USB 3 stick instead of 2, may have been the problem. I also made a new installer for Mojave 10.14.6 with UniBeast and updated Clover to 5070.

Did you changed something else... for exemple something in config.plist? :) (I try to install Catalina with Clover on 2nd ssd now) I it's funny because now (for 1st time) I have same problem as you before...(same error)

Nope, all I did was create a new install USB on a USB 3 stick, with my original working EFI from Mojave. Then I ran Clover 5070 onto the USB using recommended UEFI files. !! I DID HAVE TO ADD APTIOMEMORYFIX-64.AML TO drivers/UEFI manually. So don't forget that!! Then I copied my config.plist to the USB, and I updated all my kexts in .../other and /L/E, and that was it. From there I ran the installer from my boot drive and when it restarted I booted from the USB until the installer finished, 2 restarts i think. When it was done, I copied the Clover 5070 EFI from the USB to my HD. No other changes I was using Clover 4919 (pretty sure), and I read some people had luck with it. But, after trying everything else, I updated Cover, and it worked. Hope this helps. My EFI is in my original post if you want to try it. But I think it was updating Clover that worked for me. Good luck!

You may use Clover 5092 or 5094 : no issue.

So, for X299, Clover 5070 and AptioMemoryFix are almost required.......of course if you're loading Opencore, that's dfferent (and you should post on the X299 Opencore thread if you're interested in Opencore)
