is there a fix for EVGA NVIDIA GTX 1060 and whatever else is causing boot flags.... followed the above instructions to the letter and still no luck(currently booting with no kexts). I am stuck at step 2. I tried installing nvidia first installing nvidia 2nd nothing once I run multibeast....kaboom no Sierra. I have to pop in another drive running a different OSX to format my soon to be Sierra... my profile is current regarding my system.... next Ill try removing gtx 1060 and running the computer.... something gotta give.
look into lilu and whatevergreen kexts as well

This has been worser(new word) than calling Dell Tech support! so I booted Sierra onto a traditional and a SSD, one load has sound no card, the other has three screens (two on card one on motherboard) no HDMI on NVDIA GTX 1060....
anybody selling a Commodore 128? I have Omega Race laying around... I have more fun than this!

No problem ;) Glad I helped someone out!

I am still trying to figure out how the NVIDA Web Graphics work in High Sierra because there is a few people complaining that they get a black screen with some GTX 980 and GTX960. My main concern (that is very probable to happen) is that I will get the same treatment with my GTX970 :/

And I am searching everyday for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth kexts that work in High Sierra to fully support the BCM4352 Combo card and so far i found a few pieces of code that might work just as I did with my Sierra Build.

As far as I know, this code will might only provide Wi-Fi and Bluetooth (not so sure bout that one).
Copied from http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/324194-pre-release-macos-high-sierra/page-31

Even if there is a driver/kext release for the Combo card, it will take a while for someone to build kexts to fix handoff so I guess that I will stick to my Sierra until I am sure that I´ve got everything I need to update to High Sierra.

There is also people complaining that the System Definition is a hell of a problem in High Sierra because of the NVIDIA Web Drivers. Some people say that their setup only supports iMac 17,1 (according with their hardware) and that the Graphics Drivers don´t seem to work at all. And then are those who claim that the Web Drivers only work with certain system definitions (SMBIOS) with makes me thinking: Do I want to lose a fully funcional OS just to upgrade to the latest and buggy OS Release that I´m not sure that it will work?

iMessage and FaceTime in High Sierra should be the same process that I followed in my Sierra build.
Audio, Ethernet, USB,: Still searching...

For now, I think we do need to wait for some stable releases.

Regards,

for this install...

Did you use Unibeast to create a bootable OSX version then do the above?

Is this thread dead, because I need help. If you still have the clover config file, could you attatch it? I really would like to know what it is!

The files were available. Someone removed them from the original post - admin or moderator. I can't upload it because I can't find a copy and I sold that computer a while ago... I'll lookout for personal copies of them. If I find them, I'll re-upload them..

Thank you! Looking forward to it.

Clover Configuration File. It was difficult (I found an Cloud Service that wasn't properly shutdown and it was in there). Enjoy it
