I also went back to 0905 bios because I read somewhere that the last one (1201) had problems. Is it safe to stay on 1201 BIOS?

yes 1201 is good. Do you have tscadjustreset kext and is it properly implemented for the 9980

I realized not much speed difference between my i7-3770K processor and this i9-9980XE. And should be a huge difference. So, initially I didn't planned to download benchmarks and so. But I did it, and this are the results:

Yes, definitely GB5 issue. With the same CPU (but the Prime Deluxe 1mobo) I get a multi-core of 75,000 with GB4.

What I realized now is I can't download from App Store, and also I lost Airdrop and Hand Off after some point. Not sure if it was after EFI folder update, or after moving Wifi/Bluetooth from one Slot to another, or what..

In System Info > Wi-Fi it says:

Wake on Wireless: Compatible
AirDrop: Compatible
Status: Connected

I signed out from my iCloud account and did login again , but still don't work.

I use the defaults + KPG settings for Asus mobo. No OC yet.

It says Not compatible with Handoff and Instant Hotspot. Also Visible mode Disabled.

you might need those fakepciid kexts back in? I thought you used the 94360cd though? That card is native

I'm not sure if the card recognized by the system is the BCM94331CD or BCM94360CD PCIe card. Anyway it seems both are supposed to be native ones:


This is the hardware i bought a few years ago:





So, if i add AirportBrcmFixup.kext, FakePCIID_Broadcom_WIFI.kext and FakePCIID.kext my Bluetooth and Wireless AirDrop, HandOff, Instant Hotspot are now compatible and connected.

AirDrop works now (not without those kexts) but Continuity and Handoff still doesn't work.

Is it mandatory to install Continuity Activation Tool? or can i modify something manually? (I always preffer it)

And One more thing (a few more):

1.- This kexts, also solved my App Store problem. There was no way to download apps, and now i can
2.- Before install this kexts, i was able to wake up the computer with the keboard or trackpad, and now i can't. I have to do it with the tower power buton.
