Updated clover to 5530 from Sourceforge, moved all unmigrated drivers from clover/drivers64UEFI to clover/drivers/UEFI, replaced Lilu, Whatevergreen and AppleALC kexts with latest versions and rebooted.

All went well, a few restarts, but I still have the funny lines showing above the apple logo when booting until the graphics driver kicks in. (Not an issue I'm really concerned about, mind).

Updated from the Software Update app. No issues whatsoever. It took a little longer on my Hack, which has an i7-7700K, than my MBA but oh well...
Hey @frontgear - glad to hear Mojave is going well for you on our shared hardware.

I bought an RX-580 and am hoping to make the jump from Sierra to Mojave within the next week (had some medical issues to get over).

Would it be possible for you to add your current setup to the GA-7270XP thread https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/gigabyte-ga-z270xp-sli-i7-7700k-samsung-960-pro-10-12-6.228981/ ? I'll have to rename the thread for 10.14.6 once I get it working.

Thanks again for all your help when I was originally getting Sierra working, as I was a bit clueless - and probably still am!!

Can you elaborate a bit on the unmigrated driver move? I must be missing something basic?

Clover r4442+ dropped all 32Bit support including support for 32Bit efi drivers.

All drivers in the installer are now 64 bit ... as such the devs dropped the -64 suffix as there is no need for it.

Cheers
Jay

TLDR
All drivers in the installer are now 64 bit by default

Update went smoothly until the end, then the screen went blank. Waited 20 minutes then did a hard reboot, fearing the worst. Booted normally and everything seemed fine. My Geekbench score dropped from 6125/27900 to 5770/27500. I'm guessing that part of the update had patches for the Intel multi-threading exploit, so a performance drop should be expected. The other issue I have now is that finder won't open from the dock.
