1. Open Clover
2. Click on the "Mount EFI" Tool in the sidebar
3. Mount the correct partition (in my case, it's disk0s1)
4. Click on the "Boot" option in the sidebar
5. In the bottom-right corner of the window, hover over the 3-line icon and refresh the, "Configurations Acquired" option
6. Double-click on your mounted, EFI that contains the "config.plist"
7. Here we go! You're in. Time to modify some stuff:

1. Click on the "Boot" option in the sidebar
2. In the "Custom Flags" text box area, add the following string:
   • alcid=7
3. Click on the "Devices" option in the sidebar
4. In the upper-right "Audio" section, change Inject from "Detect" to "No"

Pre-req: As others have mentioned, you first need to update your AppleALC.kext to the latest version (currently 1.4.2) using Clover. You're already at this step though so you're good.

1) Go through the steps to mount your EFI and then load your config.plist:

1. Open Clover
2. Click on the "Mount EFI" Tool in the sidebar
3. Mount the correct partition (in my case, it's disk0s1)
4. Click on the "Boot" option in the sidebar
5. In the bottom-right corner of the window, hover over the 3-line icon and refresh the, "Configurations Acquired" option
6. Double-click on your mounted, EFI that contains the "config.plist"
7. Here we go! You're in. Time to modify some stuff:

2) Add the alcid=7 boot argument, and add the required "No" argument to the config.plist:

1. Click on the "Boot" option in the sidebar

3) Save your Clover configuration and reboot
