Care to share the Whatevergreen and Lilu you are using with your Radeon VII? Or, are these released versions, or newly compiled versions?

Attached below, my friend..

Everybody:

Note that the new WEG source code also seems to fix some actual or at least some former macOS inconsistencies concerning "compatible", "subvendor-ID",... GFX0 and HDAU properties. Thus anybody using my RadeonVII SSDT in addition to WEG, needs to download and implement the new modified RadeonVII-WEGVII SSDT from my respective Github libraries, after the usual adaptation to motherboard and PCI-Slot Population. I also dropped the formerly implemented load table created with VGTab (version for Vega64) but apparently not fully compatible with Radon VII, as it actually does not seem to provide major improvements and therefore rather would be confusing in the ongoing beta testing. All other former conclusion of post 2.780 however seem still to be valid also after the actual changes in the RadeonVII-WEGVII SSDTs.

As always, you're the best! Happy Easter!

I see several flaws in your current ACPI replacements. Could you please upload an IOREG.save after booting your system without your attached TB SSDT in your EFI-Folder?

Thanks.

Edit: Which other PCIe devices do you actually have under PC01.BR1A.SL01?

Is the former SSDT-X299-SL01-FRWR-XHC2.aml I wrote for XHC2 and your firewire adapter still valid or did you properly adapt the latter SSDT after like moving your firewire adapter to a different PCIe slot?

This anyway is the correct SSDT, where the entire TB stuff must go to. And this SSDT also contains the correct PC01.BR1A.SL01 -> PEGP-> EGP3.EGP4 and EGP5 replacements!

Hi All, i am now configurating a Gigabyte UD4 Pro X299 + i9 7940x and i can't get the Thunderbolt hotplug to work.
The Alphine Ridge didn't shows up in system report if nothing is plugged in at boot.
I rename the ACPI patch and all but i can manage the USB or TB hotplug working.
Any help would be much appreciated. Best regards

So basically you upgraded motherboard to the Sage, did you upgrade CPU as well to a Xeon?
And the Radeon VII too that from what I'm understanding from 10.14.5 and with the latest WEG and SSDT without any modification from VGTab works OOB and very well and fast too. So beside the ridiculous LuxMark score, does the card render well in FCPX, Premiere, Da Vinci?
What is it below the Radeon VII that is water cooled? That smaller PCIe card?

Congratulations btw. This is a killer system.
You have been using water cooled after market GPU blocks in a while. Are they reliable? No leaking or anything?
I have a Sage too, the one without 10G ethernet.

Thanks a lot and an enjoyable Easter to everyone.

1.) WS X299 Sage 10G and i9-7980XE

BTW.. there is another Boost in Skylake-X Geekbench scores either related with 10.14.5 Public Betas or recent modifications within the latest Geekbench software distribution.

400585

2.) The Radeon VII macOS implementation is still early public beta and all other benchmark scores apart those presented for LuxMark are not as expected for now. WEG and SSDT allow an optimised Radeon VII macOS implementation providing multi-monitor support, appropriate sleep/wake functionality and Display Hotplug on all available DP and HDMI ports of the Radeon VII, which else is fully natively implemented by macOS under the 10.14.5 early public betas. Else I am currently also working on the macOS SDDT implementation of an optimised and appropriate Radeon VII powerplay table by following else respective Windows approaches outlined on www.overclock.net.

3.) Other PCIe cards on my system are, GC-TTR, BT/WIFI OSXWIFI and an Alphacool Eisblock HDX-3 PCIe 3.0 water blocked NVMe adapter for my EVO 970 PRO, employed as my MacOS System disk and you actually might refer to.

4.) I never faced any problems or leaking with a properly implemented custom water blocking, which anyway should be filled and verified at first place by using e.g. a EKWB EL-ATX Bridging Plug on the 24-pin motherboard cable, solely connected to your PSU.

Great!

Amazing Score.
I got 66000 in GeekBench with a i9 7960X but it's hard to go past 4.4Ghz. I might be able to go 4.5Ghz but I still have the IHS on the CPU. I should remove that and get Derbauer X299 CPU frame.
What voltage are you using if I may ask on the CPU to run it at 4.7Ghz?

Thanks again for the great work and support.

PS: Yes I was referring to the NVME PCIe adapter.

Just everything on "Auto" so far and even SVID enabled. OC settings could be further tuned and optimised certainly.
I don't use the X299 CPU frame either, just delidded i9-7980XE with LM, although in line with extensive custom water blocking.
