So wanted to try it on my hackintosh and on my late 2009 i7 iMac.

As I wanted to test it on both machines, I installed it on an external usb drive that is an 80gb Toshiba from an old Macbook 2,1.
So I downloaded the Public Beta on my hackintosh with High Sierra, and created a normal USB. Reboot the computer as should do it normal, using clover from the main ssd where is installed High Sierra on the machine, but just booting instead the default MacOs partition, the installer on the USB and installing it to the external drive.

So no problems at all to boot the installer and then the Mojave partition.

**Update. Installed Mojave, after the 24th September release, over High Sierra on the main boot SSD and al works great and boots little more speedy. I didn't found issues on the system.

I also uploaded my EFI and config.plist

Working stuff:
-Ethernet & Wifi (wifi is Asus PCE-AC68)
-GPU graphics
-Sleep
-USB 3.0
-Home network sharing with other MacOs systems
-Sound (After update last AppleALC Kext and restore native AppleHDA using Toleda guide)
-iCloud
-iMessage
-FaceTime
-Parallels

I have the exact same setup but I have sleep issues. Are those the only kexts you used?

I lost this mobo by a lightning that burned the Lan chip, so I'm back to a shity Medion H61 mobo meanwhile I get a new Asrock Z77 Pro4. So I deleted the stuff related to that mobo some weeks ago.

You don't have exact same setup as you are using a Nvidia GPU instead AMD one, but maybe you should try to make a custom SSDT. I guess that with the GT 610 you shouldn't need WhateverGreen kext, but I don't have experience with Nvidia GPUs

I tried it with both NVidia GT610 and AMD RX570 with similar issues with sleep. I seemed to be making progress on this since my original post playing with BIOS settings for CRS, etc. seems to be stable enough now. Weird thing is reboot will hang at splash screen 50% of the time unless I hammer F12 to manually set startup drive every time it boots.

Not sure, but may be the hang at splash screen it's something related to a bad psu, or just the mobo is failing. Anyway give a chance to the custom SSDT to try to fix the sleep issue.

I messed up it was an RX480. I removed it and went back to the solo GT630 and everything booted fine. The AMD card always seems to glitch halfway through apple logo progress bar on boot - then black screen. I am not too savvy on building a custom SSDT. I have no info on how to do that, will have to do some reading. Not sure still about the sleep working with the GT630, I am going to experiment with it tonight. Mobo is good though, I have a HDD with Mavericks that runs perfectly.

The glitch on progress bar on boot it's normal. With the Rx 480 it should work, may be you forgot to put lilu and whatevergreen kexts + add on config.plist the "Devices -> FakeID -> ATI - 0x67DF1002". You also should try to connect the display to a different GPU output and reboot. Sometimes on some GPUs brands, some outputs don't work.

This SSDT link, it's a clever guide about how to make your own ssdt, give a chance to it.

The thing with the mobo it's that something like the hang at splash logo screen it's a symptom that the mobo or the psu start to fail, not total fail, just a symptom. Just saying you to be cautious.

EDIT: check the main post, where I put the EFI.zip where there is the entire efi folder that I had running with that hardware (GA-Z77P-D3, i7 3770 and rx 480), and on Clover -> ACPI -> Patched, there is a ssdt.aml file that is wich I created for that hardware. You can try to use that file on your system. Or maybe create a boot usb with my entire EFI folder and look if that works an solve your problems, but you have to try it with the rx 480.

Hope that it can helps you.

I have GA-Z77P-D3, i7 3770 and RX 580. So, almost the same configuration.
Does anybody knows why it cannot boot on my configuration? (I changed EFI folder to the one in the first post).
