Can't get past "Password" on new build

Help Please !!
I am just building a new Hack from Scratch using the unibeast and iboot method (with Snow Leopard CD). Everything has gone ok up to the point that I am now attempting to log back into Snow Leopard and programme Multibeast. But I am being asked for a password. When I put the password in it is being rejected, but I know its 100% correct. When I click the option for "Password help" it only gives me my Password hint which is of no use as I already know the password I am using is right? Therefore I am stuck as I cannot reach the desktop !! Anyone any ideas please ?

passwords are case sensitive - check to see if you have inadvertently hit the caps lock instead of the shift key while entering password.
