Yes, I copied it to the Applications directory. With this instructions it should not fail

  • cd ~/Downloads/OSX-Debu*

  • mkdir -p ~/Library/debugNk

  • cp -rf ./* ~/Library/debugNk

  • sudo cp gen_debug.sh /usr/bin/gen_debug

  • sudo chmod a+x /usr/bin/gen_debug

  • unzip -o IORegistryExplorer.zip -d /Applications/

You should check what you have in /Applications. You might be surprised (a lot depends on the structure of IORegistryExplorer.zip, and since that is not the name of the "official" attachment, no idea where you're getting it from).

I grabbed a mac usb ethernet adapter and connected to the internet. Here I am attaching the debug files, please find them attached. I did also a fresh install of Mojave.

It was getting a bit frustrating. I tried different versions of IORegistryExplorer, the last one from https://www.tonymacx86.com/attachments/ioregistryexplorer-slrid_v10-6-3-zip.24086/ and indeed when I open it and go about...version is stated 2.1 ... I believe it is a problem of the software when the offline mode is selected.

Keep in mind you actually have to copy the correct IORegistryExplorer.app to /Applications.
That is where the script runs it from, so that's the one it is checking.
And if you think you found a bug in the script, you should report the problem to the script's author.

And... there is no ioreg in the ZIP you just uploaded.
Please check your files before upload.

Thanks! At the end I uninstalled the driver and I placed VoodooPS2Controller-R6Bronxteck.kext since the one I have is ALPS.
I am trying now to make https://github.com/chris1111/TP-LINK-WIFI-Network-macOS/releases/tag/V2 as I have a RT2870 ... for some reason I am unable to disable SIP through the system recovery

Here I am attaching the files, hope is everything there this time

Start over with the laptop guide:
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-booting-the-os-x-installer-on-laptops-with-clover.148093/

I am not sure what you specifically want me to look into the guide. I was looking for an option to disable System Integrity Protection (normally you do this with the command csrutil disable booting in recovery but that does not seem to work)

Start over from scratch... you have too many mistakes to fix, therefore not worth my time or yours.

Start from scratch? But everything is running fine now except an usb Wifi adapter! Can you specify what mistakes you refer?

I believe I need to disable SIP and I can do it through clover configurator. I did not see specifically this covered in the guide but will give a try...
