Hi!
I’m currently running a Sierra install on my system with an MSI X99A SLI Plus, 5820k, 32 gb Kingston 2400 ram, and a 980 ti, but now with the new features in Mojave I decided to upgrade, however this is where my problems start.
I tried going off kgp’s guide, but no matter which osxaptiofix i try to use, I can’t get past “end randomseed +++++” either by clover just hanging there or simply getting the couldn’t allocate error.
Currently for my Sierra install I use the free2000 varriant combined with test2 to boot, but even that sometimes gives an error for Sierra and it straight up gets a couldn’t allocate error with the mojave installer.
I tried osxaptiofix1-2-3 free2000 test2 and a combination of all of them, listed my ram in SMBIOS but nothing seems to work.
Has anyone had any success with this board and mojave, or has any tips for the situation?
Or is there any affordable board for x99 that works relatively hassle free?
Thanks,
Sen
