I've been holding off with updates for a while but finally decided to run it after backing up my OS.

I updated to whatever the latest OSX version is this morning.

Upon boot Clover loads up and the Apple icon and loading bar come up, and about 2/3 in, usually when it switches to my loaded desktop, the monitor instead loses signal and nothing happens.

I've never had this issue before with Clover, therefore never had to troubleshoot any booting issues. The last time I had to use bootflags and troubleshoot startup was with Unibeast, so I don't know where to start with Clover. Does anyone know how to troubleshoot this?

You're kidding right? Roll back to your backup and do a little research before you try to update...

I've updated a few times in the past without a single issue. I thought I would ask here before rolling back in case it was something simple like a boot flag and was hoping to get more than a passive aggressive response.

Hello to everyone!
I have a weird issue. I installed El Capitan to one of my HDD with a clean install according to instructions in the site. My mainboard is Asus P6T SE i7 920 (X58 chipset). So I chose “Clover Legacy Root” post install pack not MultiBeast. Everything went ok. I can boot and go on... But this was just a trial in order to figure out whether my PC was capable with El Capitan. It passed the test :)

So as the second step I updated my Mavericks I have beeen using for years on my other HDD. Installation lasted longer. But eventually it was finished. I rebooted using USB. Everything ok. Then I followed the same post install procedures as in previous clean install hoping the same result. However this time I couldn’t boot. I tried it with USB. Not again. Typical stuck on Apple Logo.

I tried many things exploring forums. Verbose mode, safe mode. No way. That damn “apple usb host overcurrent” message keeps repeating during boot. Loading line slowly reaches to end keeping to load but never comes to end.

My graphics card is ATI Radeon HIS HD 5770. So it is not a Nvidia or intel problem as mentioned in forums. Besides, in a clean install there was no problem. The boot problem appeared after updating and executing post install applications.

I am on the edge of getting crazy. I appreciate any help.
Best regards.
