You need to use the correct version of IORegistryExplorer.app. Must be v2.1.
 
I downloaded the 2.1 version of the app, moved to Applications and the script says again the version of IOExplorer is wrong. I have downloaded the program from osxpc dot ru

On another note the touchpad magically worked once, but after reboot did not work anymore. Also, at times the laptop does not boot into mac os showing the big prohibited logo.

Any bugs in the script should be reported to the script author (in the thread dedicated for the gen_debug script).

is there a way to have internet? seems that offline version is not working and I don't receive help...

I have 2 usb wifi adapters: D-Link DWL-G122 (ralink RT2571w) and a Conceptronic C300RU v2 (Ralink RT2770) and 2 USB ethernet adapters: the official Apple one and a belkin usb 2.0

You can use gen_debug.sh in off-line mode. But you must read the README for procedures:

This version of IORegistryExplorer is not recommended.

No idea what you mean by "same repository".
You should check your IORegistryExplorer.app version (About).

Google 'how to make a copy of ioreg' to find the post to which v2.1 is attached.
