hi everybody,
i just complete my hackintosh ( i7-920, 24gig, asus oem "truckee" board, radeon 4850 ) tonymacs way and was wondering why i never have full resolution and really lame graphics.

i found an old thread, somebody suggest du change the fake id of the card to 0x944a1002 instead of the 0x0 and turn the fixdisplay to "true".

the hack boots up usualy and i have full screen resolution and nice look and feel.

always giving this at bootup, its not what i wanted, so i decide to use the "clover configurator" to change the settings permantly.
once i've done, i just got a panic screen and the machine reboots to fast to see anything.

what did i wrong ?

Boot your system in Verbose Mode and post a picture of your screen when it freezes/hangs.
At Clover Boot Screen press space bar and select Verbose (-v) and Don't reboot on panic (debug=0x100).

no panic screen anymore but hanging at boot...

here is a picture of the last message in verbose mode :

Typical of a graphics problem.

Use the forum Search tool to see how others have overcome this obstacle.

why its function when i boot from the usb and change before boot, but when i change the config.plist its not ?
i boot into el capitan, open the clover config to mount the efi partition, edit the config.plist and restart...where is the mistake ?

Do you have EFI backup folder on main partition? Check it and remove any clover entries there. If they are different from your EFI clover config plist it may be causing the issue.

found and deleted the efi-backup folder but still the same...
boot with usb and the needed options is successfull, boot without usb and the system hang... :/

Start with the computer powered off.
Insert your USB installer.
Power on the computer and press your boot menu key - Usually F12 but YMMV.
At the boot menu screen select your USB flash drive as the boot device and boot.
At the Clover menu screen select your hard drive and boot.
When you get to the desktop download and run EFI Mounter and mount the EFI partition of your USB.
Copy the entire /EFI folder from the EFI partition of your USB to the desktop.
Eject the USB.
Run EFI Mounter again and mount the EFI partition of your HDD.
Delete the entire /EFI folder from the EFI partition of your HDD.
Copy the /EFI folder from your desktop to the EFI partition of your HDD.
Restart

You should now be able to boot from your HDD in the same way that you could previously boot from your USB.

that helps...el capitan is now booting.

have no sound, the board have an ALC888s chip and if i try to install with multibeast, i always get a error message, that the installation cant be done...
