I community,

I'm tryng to help a friend with his 6 years old hackintosh that don't start up since a week.

I don't have the mobo ref, it's a i7 3.2ghz with 16go ram running succesfully since 6 years mac osx10.7.1
Bootloader is chimera 1.9.2

He was using a RME audio interface pluged on the FW400 of his mobo. the RME, now down, has been replaced by TCelectronics FW audio interface.
He runs the installer succefully, and worked with for two weeks before the hackintosh fails on start up with a prompt to restart computer.

Any ideas are welcome.

sorry but pict are ont the reverse order ;-)

A important news he just give me:
Since he has installed the TC electronic drivers, He didn't restart his hackintosh which was working perfectly. So it has failled at the first reboot after TC drivers instalation.

Could I find a way to avoid the relative Kext (audio or FireWire) in chimera?

I will have the machine tomorrow.

I got the machine, and I succed OSX10.7 startup by tiping " UseKernelCache=Yes" in chimera.

How can I fix it not to have to tip it at each startup?

Add UseKernelCache=Yes to /Extra/org.chameleon.Boot.plist
