Apple Keyboard with Windows 10 - Best AutoHotKey Boot Camp Script

Hello all!

Like many of you, I've been a Mac user for many years and whenever I use Windows I always want the keyboard shortcuts to be the same - especially if I'm using an Apple Keyboard designed for macOS. If you're dual booting your Hackintosh with Windows I think you'll find this especially useful. Download and install AutoHotKey and then put my script file in your startup folder and the following changes to your keyboard will occur:

Key Swaps:

• 'Command' key triggers Windows Control key
• 'Control' key triggers Windows key

Finder Shortcuts:

• Delete - 'Command + Delete' triggers Windows Delete key (instead of backspace) - for deleting selected icon
• Open - 'Command + O' triggers Enter key - for opening selected icon
• Get Info - 'Command + I' brings up properties window for selected icon
• Enclosing Folder - 'Command + Up' sends you up one folder in hierarchy

Other Shortcuts:

• Quit - 'Command + Q' quits out of most apps
• Force Quit - 'Command + Option + Esc' brings up Windows Task Manager
• Spotlight - 'Command + Space' brings up Windows search
• Log Out - 'Command + Shift + Q' logs out of current user
