Hi, So I finally got on high sierra after replacing my 660ti with an RX 570. I enabled the card natively without Deinit on 10.13.4. I was having freezes when running apple Photos until I got the Intel graphics chip working, which I don't understand. I switched to iMac14,2 because I couldn't get any of the newer definitions to load without a black screen. ANYWAYS, now everything works except for waking the system up after sleep. It sleeps and wakes up just like it should. only thing is, its buggy after it is woken. Any web pages with video on them will hang in Safari, and chrome as well. The page will beach ball, but not hang the whole system. I can close the tab no problem, but no page will load. Youtube won't load. Facebook will load until you scroll past a video and then will hang. There is also new no console activity that I can tell. It happens every time and is only cured by a restart.

Our systems are almost the same, here is my config.plist. I have no issues whatever with my system.
I use an SSDT-USB.aml instead of the port limit patch and lilu + AppleALC for sound. What brand radeon do you have?

Hi thank you! my card is ASUS ROG

I have seen other post about problems with ASUS cards, mostly their 560 series.
Mine is a Gigabyte and I have no problems, multi-monitor works even ( DVI and HDMI ). My config.plist is not as crowded as yours, did you give it a try?

Yes, I did give it a try and had the same issue. I took the opportunity to compare the two of ours and got rid of some of my unnecessary items. Thank you for that.

Interesting discovery. After sleep, the VDADecoderCheckerSierra script hangs and "GVA error: Failed to find IGPU IOService plane." appears in the console. It has something to do with the iGPU.

I do not know, sorry I could not be of more help. Perhaps a post in the graphics forum would get more replies.

I just fixed it! Turns out I had an out of date IntelGraphicsFixup kext.
