Post macOS/OS X Geekbench Benchmarks

Also check temps with intel power gadget. Could be thermal throttling due to bad TIM or something... Are your benches in windows ok?

In Windows it is similar (Geekbench: 4000/13000, PC Mark 10: 4392). It seems something slows down my system. Mayby motheboard? BIOS is latest one F11. RAM seem OK, running Dual with reference timings.

Right there's the clue. It must be hardware or bios related. Not a hackintosh issue.
Reset your bios to default settings and try again in windows, then do the changes for OS x and try again. Sort of go through one thing at a time to find out what it is. Try re-flashing the bios as well, or even flash an older bios.
Try 1 stick of memory.
Few things like that.

So root cause found - I have downgraded BIOS from F11 to F10 (first official i7 support regarding the CPU list) and now the values are OK (previously 3600/11900). In Windows even better - 5000 / 16000, on Mac see screenshot.

But one strange thing happened with this F10 BIOS - it sets core voltage on Auto too high (1.35-1.45 V). I have no OC, I don't know why it happens, but I think it should be somewhere around 1.15-1.2 V. Should I lower it manually to 1.2 V?

Heres my i7-3770 in an HP 8300. Scores higher in both single and multi core than my brand new (expensive) 13" MBP despite being an old processor.

@ashman70 we have the same CPU but not sure why mine is benchmarking higher. I'm new to Geekbench but assume it should be comparable.

My first hackintosh since 2008. Actually - hackmini. Memory was overclocked from 2400 to 3300. Intel UHD 630

20х20х6см small box

Beats my macbook pro mid 2014 almost 4 times!!! My workflow with PS and LR is amazing )

I try to keep it as close as I can to original iMac hardware, so this is what I get on CPU and GPU Benchmarks with Geekbench:
( I7 7700, 24 GB DDR4 at 2400 MHz, ATI Radeon RX 560 4GB OC STRIX ROG )

My score, Please note I am running the system from a normal hard drive. Was not able to install High Sierra on SSD as yet.
I have no idea how good or bad is the score. Perhaps someone can tell me.

Great score, I think I have the same processor. Have you overclocked yours. If so can you please let me know how did you do that. Many thanks

Hi, yes it´s overclocked to 5.0ghz, (it's 79 Celsius max now so could probably do 5.4 GHz, but i like to have it under the limit to be safe) it's delidded and has a Phantek CPU cooler.

Delid is the process of taking of the "lid" of the cpu and replacing Intel cheap thermal paste with liquid metal from thermal grizzly, then resealing it, temperature usually drops 20-25 degrees Celsius.

See here for delid:

CPU cooler:
Phanteks PH-TC14PE CPU cooler 3 fans instead of 2 (kind of like Noctua, but even better specs)

Just follow this guide for Gigabyte BIOS overclock:
