Hello,

Does anyone run macos on Gigabyte H81M-D2V? I lose so much time to try different configurations with clover with no success.

So my configuration is:
Motherboard: Gigabyte H81M-D2V
CPU: i5-4460
GPU: (integrated) Intel® HD Graphics 4600
SSD: ADATA SX930

This guide states that it works in 10.11.5 so it ought to be upgradeable too.

Disable 3rd party USB 3 in firmware settings, with widely recommended BIOS settings you shouldn't need any special Clover configuration to boot.

I tried this guide few days ago, and without success too. It freeze on the booting progress bar.

Only working macos is on my macbook pro, but I would like to install on my desktop too.

I will try again, thanks.

You only need FakeSMC + Realtek Ethernet kext. Clover defaults or a simple config.plist should be good to get you to the desktop/installer.

I don't know what's wrong, but now I even cannot boot the installer. Tried HS and Sierra few times :(

After some iterations, finally, I get HS installed. I fixed the missing installer boot when removing the ".IAPhysicalMedia" from the bootable usb.

The installation was smooth, I have enable the LAN and Audio drivers so, they are working.

My problems right now are:
1. The slow booting (take minutes even when adding -lilubeta)
2. Graphics acceleration. My GPU seems to be Intel HD 4600, and it seems it's not recognized propertly. I have tried a lot of compination with changing ids, and fakeid, adding intel injection, none of them seems to works.

If somebody using similar configuration with such CPU, please advice.

I made a hs build with your hardware just few days ago, it works very easily without any problem.
This is the wrong section u should open a new tread on hs desktop support, by the way u install 10.13.3 or 13.4?

10.13.4 (latest from the appstore), but I don't think the problem is HS related

I am curious where I am failing, because I was followed guides exact step by step.
Creating USB with unchecked ATI and Nvidia
Installing on ssd drive (without problems)
From multibeast, using quick start, and select only Realtek ALC887/888b and Intel Graphics Fixups
