Bingo.

Disabled it, restarted and successfully booted out of safe mode; tried multibeast again and it succeeded; restarted once more and internet connected as well.

Now to get dual screen working and ensure sound's functioning and I'll be all set. Thank You.

Help!!! I just finished my first build thanks to this website. I tried to do the mac is high Sierra install first, didn't work atter days of trying different methods and no luck I started an el Capitan install. Currently after following this guide, when I boot from usb it takes me to clover boot menu. When I select boot from mac usb, I see some text scrolling on the screen and then the system just restarts. Can someone please help me with what's going on?? I made all the bios settings as well. Still no luck.. :banghead::banghead:

Kaby Lake hardware is not supported on El Capitan.
You will need macOS Sierra 10.12.6 or higher.
 
I tried that first with the process listed on Tony mac. Upon reaching clover boot screen I don't see any of my hard drives show up in the disc utility :mad:
 
it freezers here or at the line above,
its set for intel graphics.
(i7-4770 20gb ddr3 ram motherboard from dell optiplex 9020)

Hey there. I'm having trouble creating a Clover Legacy Boot USB. I'm using the latest available Clover build from RehabMan.
Issue: not able to get into Clover. I get that gray "boot manager" screen. I'm pretty sure my issue is not like the one that was already mentioned. That's because my USB device is 2.0 only and I've already tried it on two computers (one of them has only 2.0 USBs).

I've tried a couple of things:
- Format USB (2.0) as MBR exFAT then install Clover Legacy to it
- Format USB (2.0) as MBR FAT32 then install Clover Legacy to it
- Format USB (2.0) as MBR HFS+, then createinstallmedia (Sierra) to it, then install Clover Legacy to it
Also tried repeating those steps with another USB stick, but no luck.

To install Clover Legacy, I tried a couple of options:
- Bootloader: all three options (don't update, boot0af, boot0ss)
- CloverEFI: SATA
- All other options unchecked

I also tried using the gray screen to "Continue" but nothing happened.
Also tried the "Boot to file" option by selecting both CLOVERX64.efi and BOOTX64.efi, but it didn't work either. It just refreshed the screen with no signs of doing anything.

I would be very happy if anyone could help me with the correct installation steps for Clover Legacy. And, no. I cannot use Clover UEFI (this machine has LOTS of problems with its UEFI. I'm trying to see if it would work great with CSM).
