Dear Rehabman,

Thanks for the guide , used it to install high Sierra 10.13.5 on my probook 440 g4.
Everything is working fine except the bluetooth switch to turn off is greyed off. Is it possible to enable it? It's intel built in Vendor id:0x8087
product id: 0x0a2b
Thanks.

with intel bluetooth, no option to turn off

with intel bluetooth, no option to turn off

Hi, @feartech,
Maybe i wasn't clear posted in a hurry.
The bluetooth is always on and i would like to be able to turn it off and on when i need to. For now the only way to turn it off is to suspend the machine.
As for the chip itself, it is the one bought with the laptop. The vendor id says intel, that's why i said intel bluetooth, i could be wrong.

thats the only problem with intel bluetooth on macOS, no option to turn off

you may be able to replace the card with a more compatible card

ok, i see, thanks.

On another matter, does the probook 440 g4 whitelist the wifi card in bios?
Can anyone recomend a compartible wifi card?

Read FAQ/guide for recommended WiFI/BT hardware.

As per guide, post #1, no whitelist in your laptop BIOS.

It is best to read before asking questions.

Hi Rehabman
I think my laptop "HP Zbook 14 G1" is similar to the ones listed as supported, but needs only small tweaks. I think it' similiar to the 8x0_G1 series and 4x0_G1 series. I'm curretly using the specified plist and dsdt files for 8x0_G1, and my trackpad and soundcard doesn't work.

Here are my system details:
System: HP Zbook 14 G1 + Clover(UEFI)
CPU: i5-4300U / Haswell-ULT
Graphics: HD4400 + AMD FirePro M4100, 1600x900
RAM: 2 x 8GB DDR3 1600
Audio: IDT 92HD91
Wlan & Bluetooth : BCM43225HBM

The files you required in the "unsupproted devices" section are here:

I have also uploaded a copy on tonymacx86.
Hi @Jiachen Can you give me the EFI folder? and all settings to your computer running fine! My laptop is also the hp zbook 14 g1, thank you!
