Hi.
I need your thoughts on a project.
I would like one small, lightweight, low power, always on - machine. It needs to serve as, NAS, plex server and support light gaming. I think I will be running only OSX on it, but might go for a dual boot.
I'm thinking of a used mac mini ( or a Minix z83-4)
) , connected via usb3 to a multiple hdd case like this:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/ORICO-9558...095926&hash=item3d5a5eb46e:g:q6kAAOSwYytajJBN
or what about using the:
and then run the disks as a RAID system, and let the OS controll the RAID stuff.
Anything I should be aware of?
Is it a good idea?
Thanks
