Planning on buying my first computer to hackintosh (long time Mac user) and I stubbled across this thread about Nightblade, with positive results on the MI2c model (https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/msi-nightblade-mi2.193197/). I really like the Nightblade and was wondering if the MI3 would be a good hackintosh candidate?
At Newegg: https://www.msi.com/Desktop/Nightblade-MI3/Specification
Also at Amazon: https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B0773Y88WH/?tag=tonymacx86c0c-20
Processor: Intel Core i7-7700K (4.2GHz 8MB L3 Cache) Quad
Socket Type: LGA 1151
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 3GB GDDR5
Memory: 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 2400Mhz
Hard Drive: 128GB SSD + 1TB 7200RPM HDD
Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 3168 Wireless Card
Audio: 7.1 Channel HD Audio with Nahimic audio enhancer
According to the MSI site Specs it's an Intel B250 Chipset (Kaby Lake) (https://www.msi.com/Desktop/Nightblade-MI3/Specification)
As far as I can tell (I'm a novice) everything appears like it is supported (CPU, chipset, GPU) but what might I be missing that might not make this compatible? Your expertise would be very much appreciated.
