Ok, well get rid of FakePCIID_Intel_HD_Graphics and put the IntelGraphicsFixup kext in with the others... Reboot, open a terminal window and let me see the output of - sudo touch /System/Library/Extensions && sudo kextcache -u /
Thanks graphics work now but the system is very slow trying to fix that now :)

Yeah, you have to have a network device on en0. You should try this until if/when you install a compatible wifi card - https://github.com/RehabMan/OS-X-Null-Ethernet
Unfortunately still have the same issue :( Made sure there was something there with DPCI manager as well so the Null device is working. Tried two methods serial methods: the one in this guide and the "idiots guide to iMessage". We all owe you a huge thanks by the way for following up on this thread like you are!

1) Just updating my issue here for anyone in the future: turns out Clover Configurator is not in fact good for modifying the config.plist and corrupts it. Using another tool solved all the problems related to my serial issues and other things I was trying to modify in there.

2) I've got some weird power management issues:
- sometimes when I pull off the keyboard/cover I get the behaviour that appears that looks like the "turn down brightness" key is held down. Followed by some required key mashing to get it back up. Similar thing happens when closing the lid and instigating sleep that way. So I feel like the first behaviour is related to that. I know sleep may only work when engaged from the menu and try to do that. But this is weird.
- I'm also getting pretty significant battery drain while asleep. And possibly even when shutdown (though the latter was likely my fault due to an accidental attached USB device). Currently testing the behaviour some more to establish a more consistent pattern and drain amount.

Sounds like you're using VoodooPS2. You can either switch to the SmartTouchPad Elan kext (touchpad doesn't matter since it's only needed for the keyboard, but that will break the volume hardkeys...This is covered in the guide) or you can go into the info.plist in the keyboard kext inside VoodooPS2 and under IOKitPersonalities/ApplePS2Keyboard/Platform Profile/Default/CustomPS2Map add 'e005=0'

The problem is that the PS2 controller is sending spurious keystrokes on sleep/wake. Adding the above to VoodooPS2 will cause it to ignore it.

No "Problem Reporting" files attached.
Read FAQ, "Problem Reporting" again. Carefully. Attach all requested files/output.

Use the tool mentioned in the FAQ, that way it is less likely you'll omit something.

Sorry Rehabman. Here's a more complete zip of stuff.

Seems like the sleep problem is more specifically: the inability to wake from sleep. I was confused initially by the extended time required for it to actually go into a full sleep state and thought I was waking it successfully. Unfortunately, once it goes to sleep (either by lid or sleep menu), it will not wake.

I tried adding the CustomPS2Map, but unfortunately that didn't change anything. Going to try SmartTouchPad, but want to do a bit of reading up on it first.

Your ioreg shows NullEthernet at en0, so there should be no problem with the Mac App Store.
That is unrelated to your sleep issue though.
See FAQ for ideas on sleep:

Hint: Your ioreg shows CPU PM not even implemented.

Thanks RehabMan. Looks like our message got crossed a bit. Yeah, the serial issue was solved and was actually due to Clover Configurator somehow corrupting the config.plist upon saving. Edited manually in BBEdit (or other tools) solved that. Posted that note above for anyone following this just in case.

As for CPU PM not being implemented: that's outside of my understanding at the moment so I'll have to learn about that. I assumed that was handled by the things jhax posted. Time to dig deeper I guess! Jhax, did you ever sort that out for this configuration by any chance?
