Hi James,
No, I never did get it to work.
The skill sets for figuring out all the little details to get it "really usable" are not in my wheelhouse.
I also need to get it up and running and usable so I went with Ubuntu. I would like to come back to this at some point but that would be a while down the road, and possibly another Brix .... next time I will get one that has a higher success rate here instead of just getting the latest fastest hardware. :)
awe that's too bad. I currently have the intel nuc i5 broadwell and its been working out great as a hackintosh and I was thinking about building another another one that had more power but still just as small.

thanks for the tip coming from you. I think I will give this a try since I also found out that this brix uses the same 5th gen i7-5775R that the current high end imac 21.5 uses.

Note: The github project has been updated to install Lilu.kext + IntelGraphicsFixup.kext for 10.12.

That is probably the last of major fixes for 10.12. Will be moving the guide to the 10.12 guides forum soon.

@RehabMan If you have any insight I would appreciate it, it's driving me crazy.

For whatever reason when I use the config.plist from your repo, I have no bootable volumes. Not Internal Drives, not even USB.

If I restore the original Clover's config.plist they come back. I am using the last revision of clover.

Thanks!

It means you forgot HFSPlus.efi in drivers64UEFI.
Make sure you read the guide carefully.

 thanks man! I thought it was completely related to the config file as with the default it worked. Either way, I will try it! Thank you

Edit: Worked just fine, of course.

Edit 2: While I have your attention, if it's not too much trouble. I tried searching and no solution worked.

I have a 32" QHD screen which works perfectly with display port.

However a Dell 27" 4K, I don't get the full resolutions. I actually just get 1280x1024 and 1920x2160. Not even FullHD.

I already updated the bios with the modified version with 128MB memory, I already did the pixel count patch.

Weirdly enough, in my High Sierra attempt I got FullHD as an option, however still no 4K.

Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks.

if Brix i7-5775R work well with 10.12 or 10.13 will be wonderful. Today Amazon has it for sale on $200. What a good deal.

The files could be updated for the Broadwell BRIX, but currently they are not.

This would be awesome. I have been trying to get the Brix i7-5775R up and running as a Mac mini alternative. I don't want to hijack this thread, but any pointers on what files need to be updated would be helpful. At this point, I see kernel panics.

In another thread, you mentioned that USB would need to be changed but that is easy. Again, I have been scouring this forum, but could not find any reference to what needs to be done. I see a Kernel Panic on USB, so I assume that's the part that I am missing.

Also, the i7-5775R is now on sale between $200-$250 making it a very good deal for hackintosh.
