i am new to hackintosh, pls help me .

My minimal config :
- Intel i5-4690K-Haswell
- Gigabyte Z87K-UD5H mobo
- Crucial Ballistic 8 Go RAM
- 250 Go Revo SSD HD
- ASUS DVD-RW optical drive
- LG DVI monitor
(no PCI cards ...)

Applying BIOS settings as written here http://tonymacx86.blogspot.fr/2010/04/iboot-multibeast-install-mac-os-x-on.html
all is working well till the "14-15-16-17" steps : when I restart the computer (step 15, after step 14), I place the Snow Leopard Retail DVD by the iBoot CD (step 16) and then, there is no "Snow Leopard" installation choice (as shown on the screenshot), though the Revo 250 Go SSD has been recognized, formatted as Mac OS Extended (Journaled), and so on...

Does anyone tell me what I am missing ? Thanks

I have a snow leopard DVD, and I would like to install on my skylake i5 6402p using iBoot. This is my first Hackintosh. Will using iboot haswell work? Or do I HAVE to create a unibeast usb. Or is there possibly a iBoot skylake available.

When I burn iBoot, it put a .txt file on my usb. Is this right?

Hi probably not going to get a response here given how outdated the conversation is but I am trying to install Mac OS 10.6 on an old Dell machine with Intel i5-4590 and NVIDIA GT 8500. I found out it was a Haswell so I used the iBoot 1.0.1 Haswell. I am able to get to the white apple splash screen and then a rainbow pinwheel but then the computer restarts instead of going into install. I tried to run iBoot with "PCIRootUID=1 -x -v GRaphics Enabler=No" and the same thing happened. attached is the error message I get right before the computer restarts. Please help if you know how to fix and get the installer to run.

What you see there is the end of the shutdown process.
Whatever happened (including any information useful for problem diagnosis) has scrolled off the top of the screen.

Hi @P1LGRIM thanks for your response and help here. Here is a snip right before the spinning rainbow pinwheel that had the batch of error messages before the ones I previously posted:

Looks like input/output errors on the drive.
