leaves one functional for i

Ok - 14.2 Mac version is fine, that being said, you must absolutely insure that Lilu, Shiki, NvidiaGraphicsFixUp Kexts are the latest releases. These kexts are not necessarily used just for MacPro 6,1, I use them in my setup to stop booting to a black screen, play my iTunes movie collection and stop iTune crash. If all the aforementioned is ok, one more, thing try adding this: -patchFixHeaders_20000000 to your config.plist and possibly disable Integrated graphics and give it a shot, ignore the VDADecoderChecker error. Repair Permissions, reboot and run through the steps to play iTunes Movies for your graphic card again then reboot. After rebooting try iTunes movies again. Good luck.

Running the latest versions
Tried NGFixup 1.2.1 wirh LILU 1.2.0 and Shiki 2.1.0

Added PatchFixHeaders_20000000. No help.

Still gets stuck in a boot loop if NGFixUp is injected.
Any other ideas

Thanks again.

So am in high Sierra and for some reason am able to stream tv shows. However, the stream is just one big artifact, but its streaming. Am getting audio from the tv show but the video is just one big green blob.

The best solution is to connect an AppleTV and all is OK with airplay in itunes!!!

Update: I did get to open the movie in itunes, but it looks like I could only show the menu and extra features, I couldn't play the actual movie.

But having an AppleTV, like @zgonda mentioned, it will let you play on that one until further progress on this issue.

I gave up. I installed the shiki kext in L/E and it didn't work and same in EFI/Clover/Kexts/Other. Deleted AppleIntelHD3000GraphicsVAdriver.bundle still with no luck. Installed lilu and imac.kext which borked the system so it wouldn't boot. Pulled SSD and attached it to other hack to delete lilu and imac.kext from EFI partition to get booting again. Tried all sorts of different variations and always ran terminal commands. Will ask Santa for AppleTV 4K next month.

Hello All.
I am hoping someone can help me get video working on my system.
I have a fresh install of Sierra (10.12.6), and iTunes (12.7.1.14). Using TRS96's guide for 100% working system based on the HP Elite 8300 i7, with a Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1050 2gb RAM, with Dual monitors (1 DisplayPort, 1 HDMI) and 8gb RAM.

I have attempted to follow the instructions of Shiki. I have installed the latest (2.1.0) with Lilu (1.2.0) by strictly copying the single .kext file into /EFI/EFI/CLOVER/kexts/Other and rebooting the computer. I originally tried with KextBeast, but then deleted the .kexts out of /Library/Extensions and copied the files into the EFI path /EFI/EFI/CLOVER/kexts/Other.

I have tried running the following commands at the CLI:
defaults delete com.apple.coremedia
defaults delete com.apple.AppleGVA
sudo rm -rf /Users/Shared/SC\ Info
sudo defaults delete com.apple.coremedia
sudo defaults delete com.apple.AppleGVA
But everytime I try and start iTunes, I go to my downloaded Rogue One video, and the player is just black, the player seems to be set to 'Play', but the indicator doesn't seem to move, to show that the player is playing something.

I've also tried copying NvidiaGraphicsFixup.kext into the /EFI/EFI/CLOVER/kexts/Other, as I read someone else had success with this in the system, but has not helped me.

When I try and identify the file itself, and I go within the iTunes directory structure, when I click on the file itself, it says, 'Cannot Open' with an exclamation point in yellow and a QuickTime 'Q'.

WHen I tried to use the line in the Shiki FAQ, it talked about a command to get a line written to get the URL of a protected trailer (small file I guess), but when I ran that line, there was no echoed text into the console window.

I appreciate anyone holding my hand to work this to resolution!!!!

Thank you!

Hi! Is Apple Music Videos working to date? approximately 4 months before in my case they worked, I had to unsubscribe and today when I return (previous update of lates Shiki, Lilu..) the videos play but no video really, only audio and subtitles. With NvidiaGraphicsFixup. kext in the folder /Other (EFI) happens the ones that you see in the attached photo, without the kext loaded the video even starts. Any idea?

Upgraded to High Sierra. I installed Shiki and Lilu and can download and watch movies. Still not streaming. Has anyone else got streaming to work? I haven't gotten streaming to work since El Capitan.

What version of iTunes are you running?

I am able to play SD movies no problem, thanks to latest Shiki.kext. However, I am unable to play HD movies. SD works with or without shikigva options. So I can watch star trek no problem (SD). Guardians II I can not watch. LOL. I have seen threads telling people to use the iMac.kext, however I don't think the iMac.kext on GitHub has anything to do with HDCP. That has to do with getting 77 generation motherboards to work with hackintosh.

I have to say, this is the farthest I've gotten iTunes to work in the past 2 years, though it is still frustrating that HD movies do not play.

I wonder if there is a shikigva setting I should use that would fix this?

**Update**

Was working for SD. I removed shiki and lilu kexts and did a fresh install of both kexts. Repeated procedures on page 1. Now SD does not even run. Oh well. Back to Netflix.
