It is possible to get the files that way, but then you have to know how to mount the EFI partition on your USB.
With two partition/MBR, the "CLOVER EFI" volume is mounted automatically upon inserting the USB stick, so it is easier.
Well, I know how to mount it with the script mount_efi.sh (I sent the zip from that).
But MBR partition could be a better way for booting, maybe the notebook supports partially UEFI, it was from 2012, with Win7 shipped on board.

That will mount the EFI on your SSD/HDD, not the one on the USB.
If you're booting from USB, that's where Clover F4/F2 content goes.

Yes, thanks, I know where Clover F4/F2 content should go, executing that script and giving as a parameter /dev/whateverisyourusb mounts the hidden EFI partition of the USB drive.
In fact I created the usb, booted on the wannabe_a_mac pc, F2/F4, screenshot, unplugged USB from pc, plugged on my mac, mounted the hidden EFI partition and zipped it to you.
Anyway, I'm almost ready with the new version, let's try.

FYI: Just looked at the Clover source and the help menu does not implement any action when you press space/return on any of the help items. Someone else here had reported that worked, but it is clearly not implemented, so they must have been mistaken.

You will need to be sure you're pressing the keys that generate F2/F4 scan codes (can be Fn+ or not... press both).

Well... seems this Samsung hates clover a lot. With the two partitions I can't even reach the clover boot screen :)
There is a black box in the middle of the screen (the same where clover says something like "gathering informations" but without the writing) and nothing else.
Tomorrow I'll try the Clover Legacy way. Thanks for all.

I would need to see your EFI/Clover to make any guesses regarding the problem.

Looks ok.
You might try my version of Clover.
And you should probably check your BIOS settings.

Ok, just one last question (for today :) ) overally speaking if I try in legacy mode, what differs from UEFI mode, except for maybe faster boot?

Finally, a small victory, in legacy mode I was able to boot the installer and do the F2 F4 sequence.
