Hey guys,

I've been now messing with this problem for quite some time.

I've installed VoodooHDA on my mackintosh and everything seems to work fine.
The only thing that I'm missing, is the prefpane, so I can make adjustments to the sounds.

I don't know what to try anymore. Maybe you guys can help me out with that. I've also downloaded the "VoodooHDA.prefPane" from SourceForge, but I don't know how to get it to work. When I double click on it, it just tells me, that "VoodooHDA is a part of macOS and that it cannot be replaced".

I really hope you can help me, with my missing PrefPane.

Cheers.

I am running High Sierra and had the same problem, also true for Sierra.
Solution: Move VoodooHDA.prefPane from /SystemLibrary/PreferencePanes/ to /Library/PreferencePanes/
I hope this help.
