Hi guys,
I'm installing High Sierra on this M.2 and there is something weird going on.
Read performance is just 2500 and not even close to 3500.
I tried on Windows and in order to get close to that value, I had to install Samsung driver.
Without the nvme driver, the performance was similar to OSX's.
Now, I've read APFS is not perfect and a little slower, so I managed to use HFS...
Nothing changed.
Still 2000-2100 in writing and 2500 or a little more in reading.
Do I have to install something more like on Windows?
Thanks in advance : )

I updated the firmware, nothing changed :\

No one has any clue?

I tried by installing Sierra instead of High Sierra (same config plus patches, no other kexts) again directly on my 960 Pro and results are very similar. On Windows they are way better. Anyone has a clue?

Hi, I had a similar problem M.2 because I was not reading that indicated by which complete facelift, Anyway, 2500 is a good compared with the SSd, Sorry for my bad English :/

I'm seeing your configuration and it is very similar to the mia

Like you did operate the GTX 1070, recently upgrade my GTX 970 by the 1070 ti but I can not make it work, practically does not detect it, so now I'm using the HD530 processor, is worth mentioning that I have saw OS 10.12.3

I just upgraded to 10.12.4 but I'm still with HD530, update that lei a few comments that in the version 10.12.4 Sierra accepted Nvidia Pascal, proved tomorrow again to install the video card.

If you know of any settings that help you to be able to work the 1070 GTX, you would appreciate the help, greetings!

Hi, considering the last Nvidia driver for 10.13.3 is not very good, the best thing you can do (temporarily because it's anyway suggested to have the last OSX available, for security first of all) is to have a clean install of 10.13.2. Then install the right Nvidia driver (I'm using 378.10.10.10.25.106 right now) When you've become more "expert", if a new Nvidia driver has not been released yet, you can follow a little complicated procedure to have 10.13.3 plus a previous driver for your video card.
I'm not really sure about the best "settings" on my build... but I can tell you that if you follow the guides on the forum, you'll manage to have a good and working build.
Last suggestions I followed (not everything), are these

p.s. you can disable the integrated card before the clean install... because the other one should already work...
if you ave two cards, the problem changes : )

Excellent! Thank you very much!, you apologize for changing the theme of the Forum.

I am with OS sierra 10.12.4 at a time try to install GTX 1070 ti and then will update the nvidia drivers, since every time that I'm starting get me the poster update nvidia drivers.

you can disable the integrated card before the clean install

If it does not detect it, I try to perform a clean installation. I was reviewing the AppStore and I can only download the version of High Sierra 10.13.3, you know how I can download the 10.13.2? that your me comment.

Thanks for everything :)

Remember to set the bios correctly in order to make the 1070 be recognised as first card.
No, if you don't already have it... you can try to get the OS from "somewhere else".
Perhaps 10.13.1 in that case...

Excellent! You're a genius! My video card (GTX 1070ti) now works in OS Sierra 10.12.4, seeketh download 10.13.1 and then in a few weeks I will update with a clean installation.

I had to settle as the IMac 14.2 system definition, by than Imac 17.1, I produced a black screen. (Although I think the preferred is 17.1)

It seems that everything works fine, I don't know because graphics shows "NVIDIA Graphics Device 8191Mb" and Procesador 4.01 Ghz (I have it overclocked 4.4).
