Hi guys,
First I want to say that I've been using Hackintoshes for about three years before moving on two years ago to the real gig, namely the A1502 Retina MacBook Pro.
Then I want to say that every time I've wanted to do a reinstall of macOS, I've used the Unibeast-created USB stick with the version of macOS that I wanted to reinstall.
Then I have to stress that when I booted from the USB stick, holding the Option button, I always chose "OSX Base System".
And now I have to confess, this time I chose "EFI Boot" from the menu. Then Clover showed up and it was looking pretty nice on my Retina display. I then chose to boot from Recovery, did a backup of my current installation and.... rebooted....
And then I began pulling my hair and smashing my keyboard with boot-up combinations. The backlight of the screen would simply light up but no Apple logo would appear, no boot would continue.
Things I tried that led to only lighting up the backlight of the screen:
I am led to believe that allowing Clover to boot has written something on my original bootloader that disables my computer to execute a normal boot-up sequence.
If anyone has any insight on such a situation, I would really be very grateful and willing to try any solution before taking my MBP to an authorised service technician.
Thanks in advance!

Things I tried that led to only lighting up the backlight of the screen:
- Holding the Option key to boot from the USB stick again - to no avail;
- Holding Cmd+R to boot into Recovery - to no avail;
- Holding Option+Cmd+R to boot into Internet Recovery - to no avail;
- Holding Cmd+V to boot into Verbose mode - to no avail;
- Holding Cmd+S to boot into Single-User mode - to no avail;
- Holding Shift to boot into Safe Mode - to no avail;
- Holding T to boot into Target Disk mode - to no avail;
- Holding C to force-boot from the connected USB stick - to no avail;
- Holding D to boot into Diagnostic Utility - to no avail;
- Holding Option+D to boot into Internet Diagnostic Utility - to no avail;
- Holding X to force boot from my macOS partition - to no avail;
- Holding Option+Cmd+P+R to clear PRAM/NVRAM - to no avail;
- All those with AND without the USB stick in the slot.
- Holding Shift+Ctrl+Alt+Pwr for 10 seconds to clear SMC - only then my MBP showed some response;
