The best way to go is with ram that states it is 6200/8200 compatible right in the listing. 1333 MHz is as fast as it will go so no need to get the 1600 MHz. There are many more low cost choices at Ebay.com if you can shop there if not just add three more 4GB DIMMS then 16 GB should be plenty. The existing 4GB module should match these:

If you look at the sticker on the 4GB that came with your 6200 you could match up the specs exactly for the best results.

Howdy T, Disc's are now in hand. So tonight i shall try the install. This CDis 10.6.3 cd. Will this make a difference to iboot needed?

When i partition my SSD, what size shall i partition it to as its only ever going to run OS-X?

Later on, when i update to El Capt, what size usb can i get away with?

The model of PC determines which iBoot to use. It will still be 3.3.0 for your 6200. Follow the guide that you have linked. When you are in disk utility make just 1 partition on the SSD. For El Capitan it's best to use a 16GB USB 2.0 drive. El Capitan installer is the largest (in GBs) that Apple has ever released. Some 8GB drives are large enough, some aren't. Varies by brand.

Excellent, thanks for that. Can i use my ucb wireless keyboard and mouse, logictech mk270 set up or is it wired only?
