How to extend the iMac Pro to X99 [Successful Build/Extended Guide]

Fantastic article - however I am a bit stuck. I do apologise if i'm making a rookie mistake. After following the guide and booting into the install I receive the following message:

I have tried using OsxAptioFix2Drv-64.efi but still no luck.

My build:
Asus X99 Deluxe II
i7 6850k
32gb DDR4 Corsair Ram
2x GTX 1070 Founders
512gb Sandisk SSD (will be used for Mac OS)
256gb 860 Evo m.2 (Windows currently installed)

Oh. No >.< I figured that was just to update the folder contents so the OS wouldn't try to load files that didn't exist. I figured it was unnecessary since I was able to boot fine after just deleting the files.

Update: Touched both directories, got to the same spot with the display driver. I'm gonna try real quick adding the second fix on top of AGDP just to see, before I reinstall and avoid the supplemental update/newer Nvidia driver.

Update 2: Well, that didn't work. A bunch of .kexts failed to load xD

Check your BIOS settings!

One out of the two methods must work.. There is something your are doing wrong! In fact with the GTX1080 the AGDPFix method should work absolutely flawless... Did you try it with a clean install?

You disabled xcpm_cpuid_set_info ? However, I still believe that the error is in your BIOS settings...

13.) To verify your new Power Management, download Piker Alpha’s AppleIntelInfo.kext from Github. To compile the source
code, you need to primarily install Xcode (Appstore) and Xcode Command Line Tools! This guideline might be helpful for the successfully installation of the latter.

I wonder if I need to do this procedure.

Do not you have to check it out?

Why me only? :lol: I mean, AppleIntelInfo.kext provides you many useful infos about your CPU and XCPM functionality. You should indeed implement it and study all details! ;)

I was able to get it working basically removed all non essential efi files leaving only apfs, OsxAptioFix2Drv-free2000 for the first boot, after that I added them back.

@ALL not having been able so far to successfully run the Nvidia Web Driver on their System, try this weird thing and report back in case of success with further details.

And apparently there is another option you can try: see post #878 by @vulgo ....
