[Guide] Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro El Capitan using Clover UEFI

It is created by "./patch_hda.sh ALC283" in Terminal.

Thanks so much for your suggestions. I'm still having a hard time getting the audio to work. Should the DSDT patches from your repo still apply to High Sierra? When I perform the steps directed I still have no audio, but I have one issue that driving me crazy!

Each time I've installed I've lost the ability to paste halfway through the post install setup. I've done 2 re-installs and on this last attempt I lost paste after patching DSDTs/SSDTs and patching IOKit/CoreDisplay. Should I not be patching IOKit for High Sierra since CoreDisplay handles the pixel clock limitations? I figured doing both wouldn't hurt, but could it be that applying that patch to IOKit is screwing up some other functionality?

Your kextcache output shows no AppleHDA_ALC283.kext installed.
And your config.plist has no patches for AppleHDA.

That's correct. I haven't attempted an audio patch on this install. I just couldn't get it functioning on previous installs. Right now I'm more concerned about the paste issue.

You will need to describe the problem in detail.

During post install setup paste functionality disappears. I can still copy and cut, but when I have an item copied there is no paste option in finder, the keyboard shortcut for paste doesn't work, and in context menus where paste is shown it's grayed-out. This has happened after each of 3 installs. This most recent time I lost paste after I re-booted following DSDT/SSDT patching and applying the IOKit/CoreDisplay patches.

Not enough information. No one here is clairvoyant.

You must provide details:
- the content you are copying/pasting
- the application you are running
- if in Finder, the location of the source data and the location where you're trying to paste it
- the mechanism you are using for copy/paste (keyboard? menu?)

Note that your ACPI setup is really wrong. You must use SortedOrder to specify SSDT load order. Pay attention to the trailing spaces you have on your SSDTs in ACPI/patched when you enter that data (or remove the trailing spaces).

Sorted Order Changed. I didn't bother with it before because I read where you wrote that SSDT file order in later versions of Clover is non-deterministic, but for some reason that made me think loading order was also non-deterministic. No harm in having extra SSDTs in sorted order so long as the order of those present is correct I assume?

To answer about the paste:

Any content
Any application
Any location
Any mechanism

Take your pick. For example: if I were to copy a text file or any other file on the desktop using context menu or alt-c, where I would have seen "Past item..." in the context menu on the desktop there is nothing and using alt-v does nothing. That's the case trying to copy lines of text in a file into another file or into terminal, etc.

I can't be really be any more specific about the problem because the problem is so broad. Every situation where I should be able to paste is non-functioning.

Non-deterministic means you cannot predict the order that Clover will choose.
Hence the need for SortedOrder.

No idea.
Do a fresh install.
