Hey community,

I already made 3 builds with an old PowerMac G5 case.
Here is one, that i wanna make really good.

All did start with an broken PowerMac G5 for about 35$ incl. shipping. The case self looks like brand new, very less scratches but... the postman dropped 2 times the package so i did had on the front side where the stand is a dent grr... No problem i managed to fix that.

I did choose to use the mainboard kit from the laser hive, i used this kit also for the last 2 builds, quality is perfect and they fit very well inside.

Here i marked, how the build should look like:

The middle plate did get a cut out for the power supply

This is the kit from the laser hive that i received today (17.10.2017)

After installing and mounting the whole kit, this now how it looks like:

I did order from the laser hive also a fan bracket which is made of acryl and the back of the bracked is milky white, because i install a cold light cathode, that shines through the acryl fan bracket. So the front lights up in purple.

I will update the Thread when i receive the last parts. Sorry if my English is bad.

HDD caddy and the 2 cold light cathode are finally here and installed:

This is how it looks right now:

Im waiting for the custom fan bracket.

Soon im done:

Thanks to David from The Laser Hive for the custom acryl fan bracket.
Still wait for my USB 3.0 and audio jack 3,5mm cable.
