Most of the time these keys don't work. Have to hold them and wait until they get to work, or have to press it again. Sometimes they repeat themself. It's really hard to use this keyboard :(

Every time when there is a new version of the Voodoo-PS2-Controller kext(I use Kext Utility) file I am up to date with it, but without any difference.

MacOS Sierra 10.12.6 (16G29)
Lenovo Y510P

Thank you in advance! I Installed kext in the way you mentioned in github repo. It works sometimes. Built-in keyboard works. But when I try to use touch pad ( just a tap on the pad) Trackpad and keyboard become unresponsive. Then reboot. Then keyboard works fine. But Sometimes a reboot will not solve the problem

Sierra 12.2

Hey RehabMan, I'm using tluck's branch of your kext controller for the Lenovo T420 on my X220. Trackpad behavior didn't work well, so I switched out the trackpad info.plist for the default one in the main branch to see if it improved anything. Behavior is... better, but still not great. Here's what I'm experiencing
  • Inertial scrolling requires a lot of initial two finger scrolling to start
  • Inertial scrolling is smooth, but normal scrolling is choppy, feels like it updates at about 20 fps
  • Mouse is "jumpy", it's hard to click on small things without moving it
This seems like something that might be able to be fixed with the plist settings as functionally everything seems to be working alright, but i'm hesitant to start messing with the plist before I know what everything does. Do you have any settings you recommend I start with? My current plan is to go back to tluck's trackpad plist, as it is tuned to work with my TrackPoint, and start tweaking from there.

Thanks a ton

quick edit: I should note that at one point I was using the kext with El Capitan on the same machine and didn't experience any of the above issues - idk if that's much of a hint!

I'm not supporting tluck's fork. Suggest you contact the author with your issues.

I just thought you might have some advice regarding plist settings. The differences in functionality aren't a problem for me

Both code sets are open source... you can read it to discover what Info.plist settings are available.
Note that you can also experiment with different settings via ACPI (it is faster to change settings in the SSDT then reboot vs. changing Info.plist, rebuilding cache, etc).

Thanks for your work on this RehabMan!

I've got the "need" to not swap the CapsLock & Left Control, but to *just* change the CapsLock to LeftControl.
I've created a PullRequest on GitHub with my changes to achieve that.

You can already change key mapping by customizing "Custom ADB Map" with ACPI.
No need for additional features.
