This guide is for both AMD or Nvidia:

And you might check your BIOS to see if you can disable it from there.

Also, if is the same issue, I suspect injecting the same properties on the AMD device will do the trick.

Yes but I need to do that post-installation, or am I understanding it in the wrong way?
I'm on the process of installation. (booting High Sierra using USB drive)

This laptop does not provide that option :(

I did try using the method here, but it does not work.

I did some few inspection of the SSDT-PEG0-PEGP-Spoof.aml. (I'm not an expert on this though)
The method SB.PCI0.PEG0.PEGP is the value expected, but the one present in my SSDT-8.dsl is SB.PCI0.RP05.PEGP. (Since I don't have much knowledge on this) can you help me identify what needs to be changed in SSDT-PEG0-PEGP-Spoof.aml?

You can pre-patch ACPI before installing and put it on the USB installer EFI.

Fairly obvious: Replace PEG0.PEGP with RP05.PEGP.

The prepatch ACPI thing worked. Now installing High Sierra...

Likely done incorrectly (my guess: you forgot the _DSM->XDSM patch, or the SSDT was not loading [not in SortedOrder]?)
Not possible to identify the mistake without the files.

_DSM->XDSM patch was enabled.
Should SortedOrder be present even if I do not have DropOEM=Yes?

It could be that the AMD Radeon drivers were matching. Would require using a bogus FakeID for the AMD device.
