x299-ud4 build working great but can't load cubase 9

hi !!

I have x299-ud4 with i9-7900x build os 10.12.6 working great..... but can't open cubase 9 its start loading and when arrive to load vst mixer it quit.....tried it on another build and its the same (Asus prime 299-a) .....cubase 8.5 work without problem....
some one have experience with cubase 9 on x299 with 10.12.6?

Hey Roely,

I am having the same problem on my x299 Gigabyte Aorus gaming 9 with a Windows 7 build. Same issue exactly. On my Windows 10 partiton of the same board, Cubase 9 crashes after being open for a couple of minutes every time. Currently stuck on this as well.
I don't run a mac OS so this looks to be a hardware issue...
 
Same here, did anyone found a solution?
 
Unfortunately not in Windows 7. I did find a solution to a different problem on Windows 10. I disabled all of the power management features in the bios which stopped Cubase from crashing after running for about a minute or so. This is a historic problem some DAW's and power management features. Speed stepping, C1/C3 halt states etc. I gave up on Windows 7. That one eludes me...
 
Tried disabling all power management features in bios that i could find, Cubase 9 still doesn't load on Sierra 10.12.6...( However, Cubase 8.5 works fine.
 
Yeah, That was my problem with Windows 7. Sorry I didn't find a fix for that. Curious that it is happening with Sierra as well...

I want to set up 10.12.6 on X299 Gigabyte X299 UD4/
please guide me how to install it with step by step guide.

Hi ,
wanted to ask what guide did you follow ? do you have to patch the bios on those boards?
