Hi I´m new at this but I just wanted to convey that the MSI Z270-A Pro Motherboard is working very well with Sierra 10.12.5

COMPONENTS

Motherboard: MSI Z270-A BIOS Version 1.00
CPU: Intel Pentium G4560 Kaby Lake CPU
Ram: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2x8GB) DDR4-3000
Video: GeForce GTX 1060 GAMING X 6G
SSD: Kingston SV300 120 GB
Operating System: Apple MaCOS Sierra 10.12.5 from Apple App Store
Monitor: Cinema Display 23" FHD DVI and DELL U2525H WQHD
Keyboard/Mouse: Wireless Logitech.
Speakers: Dell AC511 USB Soundbar

Basically followed ´s instruction on the following thread. copied his EFI directory and then did some adjustments, following the thread. I´ve never made a hackintosh before but it went very well and very quick so I guess this hardware is good for the purpose.

Thanks a lot to @SSandra and @shuhung for going through it so I could learn from them.

I don’t mean to necropost, but I was wondering what drivers did you use for your motherboard?

I'm trying to install osx sierra on MSI Z270-A PRO with i7-7700K, 16GB DDR4 and GTX 1080 and I cannot pass bootloader, it freezes on Freeing low memory (up to 0x20000000). I've created USB via Unibeast last version and without injecting NVIDIA nor ATI drivers. I have similar setup like you but I cant boot. Can anybody help me with this stuff??? Thank you in advance!

Same motherboard. Same problem

I have the same Motherboard, MSI Z270-A Pro and a Evga Geforce GTX 1060. I have had all the problem you can have with it.
I've unplugged and removed the GPU from the computer because I understand that it interferes with the installation.
I've got the stop sign, spinning wheel and not reading my USBs. And yes, it's in the USB 2 port.

I restarted the hole process and I managed to install Sierra on it but I couldn't install the Nvidia wed driver, and after installing the Multibeast files and rebooted it, I am now stuck again with the stop sign after the apple logo appeared for 3-5 sec. So tired of this!!! I don't know what to do now. The last time I got the stop sign I removed the GPU and that solved it. But now it's not there. Please Help!

And for those who are considering buying a MSI Motherboard for Hackintosh, don't do it! It seems like all experienced users are using Gigabyte.
