Would this Dell Optiplex accept Sierra?

i have just bought an i7 optiplex 790 with onboard graphics controller , can I ask will it accept OSX Sierra as I've read there are problems with the 2000 graphics and if the graphics are a problem can I install an nvidia 710 LP 2Gb graphics card please to help get past this issue?.

Optiplex 790? That is a system with the second generation Core processors (Sandy Bridge). If its CPU graphics is HD2000 then it will not be supported by MacOS. You will need a graphics card to try to install Sierra. A GT710 should work fine with Sierra.
 
I have Sierra 10.12.6 running just fine on an optiplex 790 with a GT 710 1gb video card installed. You need to install using the Legacy Boot Method. HDMI audio works as well on the GT 710, I also had a USB sound card installed for a while, that was the easiest way for full sound.
