Hi everyone !

First of all thanks to everyone for the help I found here.
This is my second build and it went really smoothly !

So I'm talking about :
ASUS Z270 Maximus IX Hero
i7 7700K
GTX 970
Sierra 10.12.6 (fresh install)
SMBIOS : iMac 18,3
SIP disabled (cr63)

Now, my problem is that I cannot get the web drivers to load at all.
Either I boot with the basic video driver (1024x768 and very slow)
or I get a black screen (maybe when the driver is actually loaded ?)

I read many posts, but most talk about pascal cards. Mine isn't.
I tried many things :
with/out nvda_drv=1
with/out the NVidiaWeb flags in the config file
changing PGEP to GFX0

I installed the UEFI with support for NVRAM from multibeast
I of course installed the latest web drivers...
I "disabled" the internal grafics by selecting PGEP in the bios

I tried setting the nvidia flags from the clover boot, just to make sure they were set/unset.

I haven't installed the lilu and extensions, as I think they are only for pascal cards, but please correct me if I'm wrong !

Any hint or suggestion would be more than welcome.

Edit: I added my current config.plist to this post. added smbios

Thanks ! :)

Edit config.plist - NvidiaWeb = true as per Link

Hi !

Thanks, I copied and pasted this in the config file, and all I get is a black screen.
The system is still responsive, but no display.

I tried both with or after renaming PGEP to GFX0, should I rename it at all or not ?
I tried with and without nvda_drv=1 (on top of your suggestion).

here is my current .plist :

(thanks !!)

BIOS - Disable Integrated graphics - Set PEG as Primary
Use a digital connection - DVI or HDMI - VGA is not supported.
Boot with nv_disable=1
May need to update Clover
Install web drivers
Update web drivers to ensure that you have the correct version.
Config.plist - Do not inject Intel or Nvidia graphics and no ig-platform-id
Config.plist - Disable SIP fully - CsrActiveConfig 0x67
Edit config.plist - NvidiaWeb = true as per Link
May need to emulate native NVRAM - Problem 6
Remove nv_disable=1 from config.plist
May need to install Lilu.kext , LiluFriend and NvidiaGraphicsFixup.kext

Potential Problems :
HDMI 2.0 is not supported - Use HDMI 1.4 (or lower)
If your graphics card has more than one output of the type that you are using then try another one.
Black Screen with MacPro 6,1 or iMac 15 or iMac 17 System Definition
