If you add the code i've provided here, you must not choose the standard function keys option, it works with or without pressing the Fn key. The code replaces the apple key code with the F1, F2 key code.
 
I tested on my ACER CB281HK and it doesn't work. I use Displayport

usefull info: progress bar work. luminosity don't change .

will this work with nvidia gt1060 6gb ram for brigthness fix?
 
Thank you for this amazing tool! I confirm it works with a MacBook Pro 15 with TouchBar (2016) and a Dell S2718D via USB-TypeC. I reversed F1 and F2 with FunctionFlip. Everything works as if it's an iMac.
 
Just wanted to add my thanks for this app. I have two HP 23es monitors. After changing brightness, I used the monitors buttons to open the built-in menu options and looked at the brightness setting and it actually showed the correct value. Would it be possible to update the app to control both monitors brightness at the same time or know which monitor has the active state so that you can change both independently? Thank you.
