I was trying to do it these way because i found a great guide for my AsRock 1155. I installed sierra with unibeast but will only boot up with usb stick

https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/anyone-with-asrock-z77-pro3-motherboard.176172/

If somebody can help me with booting my uefi AsRock. i cannot boot either. I'm not sure if i'm doing it right also. I followed the steps and when i get to the part. bcfg boot add N bootx64.efi "Clover"
it gives me a message saying invalid arguments - N

Please Thank you

May I ask you how your HDD/SSD is partitioned? I think you did not partition it in GUID but in MBR, so now you're lacking your EFI partition.

I did GUID. Thanks for your quick answer.

Replace N with 0 (that is a zero) also you should add /efi/clover/cloverx64.efi for your permanent installation not /efi/boot/bootx64.efi

Thank you bulge thats is awesome and helpful. Thank you thank you

I just trying to under stand this. OK I got it to boot up with doing the other command with 0. Thats a plus thank you. I'm just trying to figure out should I be in the installation while running this command. or are we trying to pull it from the USB and I should be in that.
Shell> bcfg boot add 0 fs0:\efi\clover\cloverx64.efi "Clover"

I'm not sure if this is the reason why I'm trying to change the theme now to metal. And can't not sure if its different on uefi

Thank you

As long as fs0: (or fs3: or whatever fs) is your hard drive efi partition and not on the usb, it doesn't matter how you booted.

OK Thanks I got it working vulgo :clap::headbang:
