Hi All -

Since Installing Yosemite and then Sierra successfully I have suffered fairly regular and increasing crashes.

I'm trying to learn how to read the Crash Reports (difficult) but two of my most common crashes are 'Possible Memory Corruption' and 'Kernel Trap' which seem to suggest I have a RAM problem. I've attached just 2 recent samples.

I'd like to check my RAM, but seems like I can't using Mac Hardware Tester on a Hack.

A) Is there a way to Test Hardware on Hackintosh?

B) Is there a thread that helps understand Crash Reports?

The last crash I had on ~ 6/1 actually resulted in my machine crashing upon boot. I finally started it again on 7/1 as I tried to enter Verbose Mode, and although I failed to enter Verbose Mode, my boot went past the crash and seems to be restarting fine for now.

Thanks

Why is there a line with "Snowleopard" in the crash? (Snow Leopard = OSX 10.6) Did you do a complete fresh install of the latest OSX?, say, Sierra.

You could go and burn a copy of MemTest86 to run a RAM test overnight.

Thanks for responding Kiiroaka -

I do not know why there's a Snowleopard line in the crash, it's weird. I installed Sierra fresh onto a brand new SSD using new Sierra from app store, and latest multibeast when installed 10/2016.

I might have figured out part of my problem. I think had an overheating issue. Cleaned out machine and that seems to have helped.

Ran Memtest before cleanout and it reported a failure, but subsequent tests have come back clean. Report attached.

However, one more problem remains - I have an issue when putting the computer to sleep. When it wakes, it over restarts sporadically. I've seen some threads on this, but haven't had a chance to address.

Going to follow the topic. I started collecting crash reports and still haven't found a solution. Had them on HS and now on Mojave.
