No Sound - Realtek ALC AppleHDA [Guide]

Status
Not open for further replies.
1. I hear no sound
2. Sierra 10.12.5, Realtek 1150, Asus Z170 Pro Gaming
3. Procedure - realtekACL
4. AppleHDA.kext (only, no other kexts)
11. Logitech Z5500 connected to green port, Internal Speakers

Is it possible that the sound goes to HDMI instead of the green port on the mother board?

I restored AppleHDA.kext and following the guide I set Sip 0x3 and installed multibeast alc11550. I don't know why but the codec display is alc1150 instead of alc887 as specificated in the motherboard specs. Sound and mic work but I hear again some pop sound sometime when open youtube or other programs. Now I have a different system Preference->Sound>Input/Output.
I attach two screenshot.

Quick Fix: 200 Series/Kaby Lake Audio

Low/no volume: macOS does not support external amps (green/speaker/headphone), select one:
  1. Use black (2nd Line Out) or orange (1st Line Out)
  2. Install RehabMan / OS-X-EAPD-Codec-Commander

Hi @toleda , I don't understand this, can you please elaborate this. I tried but didn't work. I am getting sound, but not to the loudest, I have settings to maximum, but still low volume. Its a clean install. While installing Sierra I installed Voodoo and now removed it from application folder to trash.

And WHAT ARE THESE AUDIO ID's(1, 2, 3..) ??? Where to find them ?

-Tried with Multibeast also. No use.
-Speakers connected in back green port. If I connect in anyother port, I dont get audio.
-Display connected with HDMI (monitor also has speakers and getting sound if I choose option)
-I am NOT sure if I have the correct files, or the process followed correctly.

PFA the pictures of the sound settings and of back panel. Please help which process to follow.
Thanks.

@toleda here is an update, I removed AppleHDAdisabler.kext from extensions. Restarted the system. Installed ALC887 legacy and 100/200 series settings using Multibeast. Restarted again.
Now I don't have any SOUND, but I got options in Audio settings : see attachment

-Option selected in attachment is for Speakers in the monitor, they are working fine.
-External speakers connected are not getting sound.

I ran into another issue after making these changes : Cannot MOUNT EFI now. See error in attachment(error: -10000)
Now, please guide me further, what to follow. Still not sure about my settings in config.file

IOReg does not show any audio app, what are you using to verify sound?
See Post #1/I. No Audio
Attach IOreg with iTunes playing and Internal Speakers selected.
