I should have read that guide better. Thanks for your help! :p
My system came in extremely fast via FedEx, but the graphics card won't get here till Monday, so I'm installing my Windows image for fun.
Great, welcome to the Elite owners group. The best value in the world of hackintoshing !

Thought this was interesting. On Amazon.com today two of the HP SFF 8000 series PCs were in the top 3 best sellers on Amazon.

I'm certain that many are buying the Elite 8100 to run Windows 10. With the 8300, probably some of those buying it are also installing macOS Sierra. These HP refurbs run Win10 much better than any new, sub $250 PC that is for sale today. When you try and run Win10 on lower clocked Celerons or AMD chips like the E1 it runs slower than molasses in January. Doesn't help that they are still shipping with slow mechanical HDDs that can't handle the demands of Windows 10. Look at what a new Core I5 system with 8 GB of ram will cost (250-300 dollars more) and you'll see why this HP Elite 8100 is a best seller.

Here's a very low price Amazon deal for a professionally refurbished HP 6300 SFF with an I5-3470. $110 USD

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B017MUJFPQ/?tag=tonymacx86com-20

It has only a 160GB HDD and 4 GB ram so you would likely want to upgrade both of those or at least get an SSD drive for Sierra.

The Seller provides a one year hardware warranty so you won't have to worry about any potential problems or failures of the hardware.

What HP do you have ? Using USB 2 or USB 3 ? Provide your hardware details. Is it a wired keyboard ?

Would be best if you provide that info and post in Hardware Troubleshooting or General Help.

Probably need to implement appropriate USB Patches.

These PCs were sold worldwide to corporations, hospitals, governments etc. So once the leases were up they all went back to the warehouses of the suppliers who have already made their $ from the lease. If they can resell them for something it makes much more sense than recycling the parts or selling each part individually. This makes it a great opportunity to get some still working valuable hardware at a very low price. That you can install macOS is just an added bonus for the buyer.
