Thanks for the information. The integrated mic's do work on ubuntu 17.04 so there is hope. By the way the integrated microsd card reader does not work on macos but on ubuntu it does I guess you should add it to "Known Problems" too.

Card readers not working on macOS/OS X are pretty much common knowledge, so I don't bother listing it in any of my guides.
There is on going work on a driver that may be helpful though...

I haven't had any chance to take a look at it...

Thanks for the perfect guide.
Just to reach out: has anyone tried installing on an SSD connected to the SATA interface? My Internal drive does not show up in disk util, however I can boot from it perfectly (contains Win10 atm. that will be wiped with disk util)

Seems all comments are related to NVMe.

Nuc: NUC7i7BNH
Memory: 32G
OS tried: Sierra, and High Sierra.
plist: config_nuc7.plist

I have not installed any specific kext into clover, apart form suggested FakeSMC, GenericUSBXHCI, IntelMausiEthernet and Lilu/IntelGraphics.

Bios is configured to AHCI (not raid)

Have I missed something essential?

Samsung EVO850 sata ssd works here. I just made a macos partition with gparted and installed to that partition. Rehabmans config needs the hfsplus.efi file in clover to see partitions or you could delete the lines in his config.plist disabledrivers vboxhfs and be free - it works with the default vboxhfs. Hope that will solve your problem.
Thanks for the perfect guide.

Thank You Rehabman!

With your guide, installing sierra was very easy, however i've got problem with Thunderbolt device.

I set up everything with guide, set Thundebolt secure to legacy, boot from thunderbolt enable, installed drivers under windows.
The KANEX TB adapter to ESATA and USB works very well (with thunderbolt drivers are not loaded) but
when i attach "CODEX SXR Drive DOCK (https://codex.online)" the device is not recognized by its software.

The system info (Thunderbolt drivers are not loaded).

Do you think there's any chance to improve TB support?
I am wondering even about changing my NUC to any mainboard that support of TB is better.

Sleep is working just fine here (connected NUC7i7BNH via DP to Dell U3011 display).

Sleep problems may be specific to HD520/HD530/HD620/HD630.
The NUC7i7BNH has Iris Plus 650.

Side note: Sleep also working on HD515 on Intel ComputeStick (Skylake) with HDMI connected to Dell U2410. Also working on NUC6i7KYK and NUC6i5SYK (Iris Pro 580, Iris Pro 540, respectively).

I also have an HD630/i7-7700k system here ready to go (need to install motherboard in case, CPU, RAM, etc). Just need some time... will be interesting to see how that goes with regard to sleep.

It means 7700K can't fix sleep problem now?

Hi RehabMan. Works great for me with the NUC7i5BNK and an NVMe 960 Pro. I don't have audio (have rebuilt caches to no avail), but I'll continue to try and work on that.

I notice in the initial post you say that dual displays is unreliable (as on SkyLake). Is this the right thread to look at for us? https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-workaround-using-intel-hd530-with-dual-monitors.214125/.

When I have an HDMI monitor it works fine. When I have a USB-C->DP monitor it works fine. When both are hooked up I get a mirrored Clover boot screen but then OS X prefers the DP monitor once it boots and refuses to talk about the HDMI monitor.

Read post #1, "Problem Reporting".

Dual monitor... must hotplug second after booting.

Dual monitor... must hotplug second after booting.

Fixed audio, that was a user error.

Nothing happens when I try and hot plug either monitor after boot. Is there a discussion I can view for more details?
