Hi. I was hoping for a little help.
After some time, i have been able to get my old reliable hackintosh back up and running.
Previously i was running OS X 10.6.8, as I was using Logic Pro 9, which uses this OS.
However, for various reasons i upgraded to 10.11.
I had major problems with the hackintosh crashing out on me, but it turned out
that the PSU also decided to die around the same time that i installed 10.11...
So i recently replaced the PSU and the system is up and running, nice and stable. So I am mr. Happy.
However, i do have one persistent problem in that apart from the mouse and keyboard.
The USB does not work at all. Which is a major problem for me as my audio interface uses USB.
I considered upgrading to Sierra but read that you need to use unibeast to install onto USB drive. And as the USB isn't working,
this will be a problem for me.
I have also read some of the guides on this forum, However as i am not that experienced in the areas mentioned.
I have found following some of the instructions a bit difficult, as some of the instructions assume that you know which app is being used to perform various tasks. However, if you don't know what app to use to change the name of ports for example.
Then you will be a bit lost.
So, if there are any kind helpful people out there. i would really appreciate a little help getting my usb ports to work.
Thanks otherwise for reading.
